Good evening everyone! I feel like this is the first time I’ve sat down today, other than my quiet time this morning, of course.
I ended up getting of early tonight, so I’m using the time between now and when Marco is home to write up a post.
Yesterday morning I had a Green Smoothie right before work.
Work was watching these little munchkins! They got spoiled with a salt + pepper chip snack.
My snack was a Cashew Cookie Larabar
For lunch, I came home and had a salad with mandarin oranges and avocado. So good!
Between school work, and my evening meetings I swam lots of laps, and snack on this trek-mix.
I love swimming. I was trying to explain a certain feeling/memory about swimming to Marco, but he couldn’t relate. I think it’s because I was a little fish when I was a kid, that I remember the feeling so clearly. Let’s see if you can relate- do you remember swimming all day when you were young, and getting out of the pool, and feeling so exhausted, in a good, relaxed way, with a super big appetite? Like you just couldn’t wait to get home and have Mom make you something delicious? I remember this feeling so clearly, and it hit me yesterday after all that swimming.
For dinner, I made myself salmon, broccoli, and avocado. This was the perfect, most deliciously filling dinner. I know I’ve had this dinner a few times since I’ve been house sitting, but yesterday, it just tasted so much better!
