Sitting on the counter… eating Ice Cream ☺

Thursday

5:45 morning walk with Aubrey (this is a one hour walk that I do with my friend Tuesday-Thursday).

7:00 2 eggs and 1 slice of Daves Killer Seed Bread

1:00 Salad with brown rice, grated carrots and avo. Yum!

2:00 Green Smoothie that I made early in the morning

3:30 weight-lifting routine at the Gym

5:00 Dinner was baked salmon, broccoli, avo, and brown rice. Yum!

5:20 dessert was this little bowl of trail-mix

Okay, I lied…. dessert was 2 bites of Marco’s Hagan Daaz ice-cream. The real stuff! And well worth it. It was the Peanut Butter Chocolate… Holy cow… so good! I told him that it was literally the best tasting ice cream I’ve ever had.

I had just gotten off the phone with one of my Clients, and I had talked about all the candy that is sitting around during the Holidays. When you actually take the time to taste candy, it really doesn’t taste that good. Think of reeses pieces for example: you have to eat a handful all at once in order to even taste the darn things. And then you eat it so fast that you immediately need another handful. Now compare this to something really good. Not non-fat, or sugar-free – just the real thing. Like Marco’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream, or a decadent, high-quality chocolate. Two bites were perfect. Plus, it’s pretty fun sitting on the counter with your best friend sharing Ice Cream :) Usually, I Coach people to sit at the table. But I also Coach people to “BE BAD!” every once in a while. It puts the control back in your hands.
